When a person does not feel well

Have you every been around a person who is nasty, angry and just plain miserable. I have a suggestion! If the person is important to you and you actually care, ask them how they are feeling? The concern for their health just might be what they need to hear. Be sincere with your question, you just might save the persons life!...Thanks for reading.

  1. A good suggestion, for sure.

My brother is just such a person. His glass is 'half empty' and he as manic depressive as anyone could be without a physician's diagnoses.

Because of his sour attitude, I am the only one in our family that the still communicates with him. I try to pry him out of his downward spiral logic, but I forget that it's probably better to simply be kind to him. An inquiry as benign as 'How are you feeling' could elicit a negative response initially, but if I try more than once, I think it's human nature to eventually find something good about ourselves.

Another thing that your suggestion made me think: Smiling is a good way to face the day.

  2. Thanks for the comment Eunoterpsiac. I appreciate every comment whether positive or negative in regards to my Blogs. Good communication with different people is a blessing. I think sometimes the question "How you feeling" for some can be perceived as something is "wrong". Just be true and sincere with people and maybe its reciprocated. Your right smiling is the only way to face the day.
